We continue down the road (or trail depending on your preference) of what makes Stapleton so unique. Let’s look at the range of shopping available. From dog treats to flowers there are several unique shops in Stapleton for everyone to enjoy.
We will start the journey in E 29th Ave Town Center. Here you will find boutique shops such as Amore Fiori, Semplice. And let’s not forget the dog-friendly spot U-Shampooch. Mosey on down to South End and explore Plum Consignment, then end in The Shops at Northfield Stapleton for Colorado Rustic Furnishings. Quite an eclectic variety of retail options.
For the owners of Amore Fiori it all started with a picture, a picture of Positano, Italy. That picture turned into a trip of a lifetime; where while sitting in a piazza the colors and fragrances of a nearby flower market made them realize that is what they wanted to have. That discovery has turned into the present day Amore Fiori. When walking into the store you will see and smell the colorful flowers, yet the experience doesn’t end with floral selections. They also have unique gifts and playful cards for sale.
Heading east on E 29th Ave you will discover Semplice. Semplice is a natural boutique with everything from women’s apparel, accessories and home gifts. If you are looking for the same clothing you can find in any big box store, you won’t likely find it at to Semplice. Semplice is a store for a free-spirited, creative and trendy someone! The owner, Amy Adams, travels to markets several times a year to hunt for special new lines of merchandise that you won’t likely find anywhere else in Denver. If you’re not in the market for clothing, Semplice also carries a large selection of eco-friendly home goods.
Then jaunting just to the south of Semplice (on the south side of Founders Fountain) you will find a place your dog will love, U-Shampooch. U-Shampooch carries a variety of pet products to keep your furry friends healthy, clean and happy. What a wonderful adventure for your four legged family member. They will not only find all the toys they could possibly want, but you will be able to pick up leashes, food, vitamins and more! They also provide a place to give your dog a bath (this way you won’t get your house dirty). All you have to decide your up to the task of giving the bath or if you want one of the helpful U-Shampooch employees to do it.
Take a trip south on Central Park Boulevard and stop at Verbena St to find Plum Consignment. Plum is locally grown & operated, and owner Crystal Stephen lives right here in Stapleton. Plum specializes in mint condition curated clothing & accessories for women on consignment. In addition to cream of the crop selection, their goal is to create a plum good consignment experience coupled with a unique, fun shopping atmosphere. In keeping with the concept’s eco-friendly focus, most of the interior décor items are re-purposed fixtures & furniture for displays, providing an up-cycled urban eclectic feel.
