On Wednesday, June 20th, members of NAIOP the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, filled commuter rail trains on the University of Colorado A-Line. On April 22nd, The University of Colorado A-Line, connecting downtown’s Union Station to DIA, opened for ridership. Since then, the line has garnered increased interest from the development community.
As an acting sponsor, Forest City (now Brookfield Properties) Stapleton, Inc. showcased its unique transit-oriented development (TOD) opportunities to over 300 commercial real estate professionals. NAIOP members crowded together to hear from President and CEO, John Lehigh as he discussed the vision for Central Park Station’s TOD.
John Lehigh discussed the progress to date in Stapleton, the available land for development and an upcoming spec office building. Further, he said, “We can be flexible. We can design it with room and space to grow overtime.”
