Join on Saturday, Oct. 21st, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a family fun community open house!
HealthONE will open its fifth CareNow® Urgent Care clinic at the intersection of Havana Street and MLK Jr. Boulevard this October. In celebration, the clinic is hosting a free event, open to the public, on Saturday, Oct. 21. The event will last from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the clinic, located at 3001 Havana Street.
The event will include kids’ activities and games, face-painting, free food from local vendors and food trucks, and tours of Stapleton’s newest healthcare facility. Special prizes will be given to attendees who join in the Halloween fun by coming in costume. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet their new physicians and receive a flu shot and free blood pressure check.
“Since its foundation, the Stapleton community has been very engaged, growing rapidly with young families and with a strong sense of community between the different neighborhoods. We are excited to become a new health and wellness resource for residents in the area,” said Mark Montano, MD, Medical Director of CareNow® Urgent Care. “Across Denver, we’re seeing that people are seeking out a high quality of care, but that convenience does play an important role in making health decisions. We are pleased to share that our team of dedicated providers will be able to deliver exceptional care seven days a week in Stapleton.”
CareNow® provides care for many types of non-life threatening illnesses and injuries, such as sprains, strains, burns, minor lacerations, sore throats or flu symptoms. The clinics also have x-rays and labs on-site and provide occupational medicine services to local employers, including examinations and treatment of injured workers in worker’s compensation cases, pre-employment screenings and drug tests.
This is the first CareNow® Urgent Care to open in Stapleton. The other four clinic locations in the area are in Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Parker and Aurora. All clinics are open seven days a week, Mon-Sat 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sun 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment is necessary. You can check-in online and learn more at www.CareNow.com/Denver.
