The summer months always seem to fly by, so take full advantage of what the Bluff Lake Nature Center has to offer!
There are two very exciting opportunities right around the corner:
Junior Naturalist Summer Camp: “Hot Blooded” – from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. July 23-27: Campers age 6 through 10 can enjoy mammal- and bird-themed explorations, endless crafts and a special visit from Nature’s Educators.
Nature’s Dinner Table Fireside Chat – from 6:30-7:30 p.m. July 26, gather around the fire and learn about the Old West. Chat about plants and herbs that pioneers and Native Americans used as food and medicines back in the day … and explore the wetlands to find some of these edibles growing at the nature center!
