If you’ve driven through the Northfield Shopping Center, you’ve probably noticed the bright orange cones and crumbled cement. That’s because Brother’s Bar and Grill will be joining the Shops at Northfield Stapleton with approximately 6500 square feet of space, including a large patio, mezzanine, and dance floor.
In small town, LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Brother’s Bar and Grill emerged with the ultimate mission to provide an entertainment venue with great food and cocktails. Many may be surprised to learn that the name “Brother’s Bar” was first suggested in the Fortney household by the mother of Eric and Mark Fortney (the founders of Brother’s Bar and Grill).
Twenty-five years later, Brother’s Bar and Grill has seventeen locations spread around the US with two in Colorado and a third on the way.
Eric Fortney used his knowledge of the bar and restaurant industry to help create an appealing sports-themed venue focused on fun and safety. With the business community in mind, Brother’s will have outlets no matter where you to sit. Unlike the Downtown Denver location, the Stapleton location will have more seating options and tables to accommodate the lunch and dinner crowds. The menu will feature scratch-made items, an 80-faucet tap bar (23 of which are slated for local brews) and frequent cocktail specials.
Currently, Brother’s Bar and Grill is hiring roughly 117 part-time employees for all positions and holding interviews nearby. The site was a mix of sawdust and construction workers when I last visited, but Founder and Owner Eric Fortney has hopes that the restaurant will open soon!
