Stapleton Library Lands LEED Certification

The Sam Gary Branch Library opened in August, and its 28,000 square feet are now LEED certified.

LEED, an international program for energy-efficient building, gave the library a Gold certification because of its:

  • Site
  • Water efficiency
  • The area’s energy and atmosphere
  • The materials used to build it
  • Indoor, environmental quality
  • Innovative construction
