CareNow Urgent Care Begins Serving the Northeast Denver Community

HealthONE opened its fifth CareNow Urgent Care clinic at the intersection of Havana Street and MLK Jr. Boulevard in Eastbridge Town Center last week. The new 5,400 square-foot space just north of King Soopers provides residents with another facility to receive quality care for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries.

“Since its foundation, the Stapleton community has been very engaged, growing rapidly with young families and with a strong sense of community between the different neighborhoods. We are excited to become a new health and wellness resource for residents in the area,” said Mark Montano, MD, Medical Director of CareNow Urgent Care.

In addition to physical care for adults and children 3 months and older, the clinic boasts x-rays and labs on-site, and provides occupational medicine services to local employers. These services include examinations and treatment of injured worker’s compensation cases, pre-employment screening and drug tests.

Founded in 1993 in Dallas-Fort Worth, CareNow has grown to become one of the largest urgent care networks in the country. HCA/HealthONE acquired CareNow in 2015 with the intent to extend the model that has made the urgent care network so successful. With five clinics under their belt, the fast-growing network plans to open several more in the greater Denver area in 2018.

All clinics are open seven days a week and staffed with a physician on-site. No appointments are necessary, which means care is given as it’s needed.

“Across Denver, we’re seeing that people are seeking out a high quality of care, but that convenience does play an important role in making health decisions. We are pleased to share that our team of dedicated providers will be able to deliver exceptional care seven days a week in Stapleton,” said Dr. Montano.
