Three kinetic “airfoils” fashioned from salvaged 737 horizontal tail stabilizers speak to the past and future definitions of Northfield (formerly North Field or runway) and Stapleton and to the mission of sustainability. The 16 ‘ high sculptures reflect the sky and their surroundings on their surface.
A fourth “airfoil” is installed in front of the Denver School of Science and Technology at 2000 Valentia Street, on permanent loan to the school from The Park Creek Metropolitan District.
