The City and County of Denver has acquired a one acre site at corner of 29th Drive and Roslyn Street, for the new Stapleton Public Library. Construction of the library will start in the next couple of weeks with a proposed opening mid-2012. The 28,000 sf library will offer open, flexible interior spaces which combines adults and children's collections. A community living room provides a quieter reading area. Public access computers will include areas for individual and shared computer. A variety of gathering spaces will be offered, from four person study rooms to a sub-dividable 100-seat community room.
