Casey’s Bistro and Pub isn’t new to Stapleton, but its décor is!
“We’ve been here almost seven years and just thought it was time for a change,” General Manager Karen Turner said about two, new 50-inch TVs and a computerized jukebox. The jukebox also serves as an audio system for Thursday night trivia.
The restaurant has become a neighborhood favorite since it opened in the East 29th Avenue Town Center in 2005.
“I think it was just the proximity to the homes and area,” Turner said about Casey’s decision to locate in Stapleton.
“We’ve watched a lot of kids grow up when they come in with their families,” she said. “Everybody seems to know everybody.”
The restaurant has a daily happy hour from 3-7 p.m. or 10 p.m. to midnight, and the menu features “traditional Irish fare and American favorites like shepard’s pie, pot-steamed mussels, corned beef and cabbage, and the ever-favorite fish and chips,” according to Casey’s website.
“We look at adding or changing it every spring and fall,” Turner said about the menu.
Casey’s also has a staff of 30 and just hired three new employees.
“Every guest is greeted with a dash of Irish pride, as the traditional Irish bar welcomes them into the pub. Meeting friends and neighbors is a snap …,” the restaurant’s site states.
