The Vision

It started with a vision: New neighborhoods for a new generation.

It started with a desire: To reclaim and recycle urban land, creating a new standard of living within Denver’s city limits.

It started with a community’s idea for their city’s future. Building on the tradition of Denver’s great neighborhoods, Stapleton refines the balance between home and workplace, marketplace and green space, private life and public involvement.

At Stapleton, Denver has a unique opportunity to redefine the issues of land, lifestyle and legacy. The guiding principles for Stapleton are embodied in the Stapleton Development Plan, also known as "The Green Book."

This guides the physical, social, environmental, economic and regulatory framework of the transformation of the site. Emerging over the next 15-20 years, Stapleton will be a network of urban villages, employment centers and significant open spaces.
